Birthday No 28

It's a cold night on the 2nd of November and I decide to hit the sack. There was nothing planned for the birthday which was barely hours away. As Im about to catch the dreamland express, Yours truly s friend shakes me up and Gives me a hug and wishes me a Very Happy Birthday. Gosh ! I exclaim is it 12 already?  I glance at my watch and Im pleasantly surprised. It indeed is.

We are litreally in our sleep but we end up ordering cold coffee and omlette to enjoy the night. Discussing the plan for the day. Yours truely`s friend an excellent observer of reptiles spots a rat near the curtain and brings to the waiters notice, who quickly gets rid of it.  The plan for the day  becomes the topic of discussion and its quarter past 1 when we call for the bill.

As morning sets in birthday wishes in forms of calls and sms s flow in from friends family and well wishers. It does take awhile to answer the calls. As the birthday policy is observed, I never work on my birthday and rightly so, stay back at home and spend the rest of the morning quietly. As lunch is round the corner, we head to Gopalan Signature and im at a bowling game yet again.

We have cup noodles for lunch after the bowling game and then head back home.

Then just before going out for dinner I cut my 28th cake much to the birthday song by my sweetheart and parents. After the cake is done we leave for dinner to Highnote and the sumptuous dinner becomes the swansong.
