Weekend masti

Yet another weekend rolls in. Its that fun part of the week where we feel de-stressed from the mundane week. Its regular rounds in the morning which culminates with grabbing the lift to the 10th floor. Work is as usual. Meeting patients and giving them that motivational bit that is required for them to have the feel good factor. Its all about having a mission to bring a smile on the face of the people around you.

At lunch time people are making plans to go out for a tasty meal and as we decide the place we get sent into splits at the suggestions given to us. Later its decided that Chinese food it is and head to Green Onion. We continue our joking and teasing at the lunch table. Soups and Main course goes down as fast as you can imagine and half an hour later call for the bill.

After biling we head for ice creams to cool off the summr heat. During the ice cream eating I became the scapegoat and people made me pose for all sorts of poses to click snaps. Later on its work as usual till evening.

Evening brings out a super surprise for me with my appraisal being given to me. Scoring 20/25 was the best we can expect. Hopefully good things will follow. And as the day ends its only wise to wait for the wonderful Sunday fast approaching !!

Penultimate day thrill

We have been spinning around the city for quite some time and its really sad that the fun has finally come to a close with the last day of my cousin sister`s stay here ending. Today was the day of three prominent spots. Brigade Road Garuda Mall and Starbucks. As we complete these trips we return home exhausted. Watch this space for more.

The exhausted day

Happy Easter. !! One of the most busiest days to go through as per the diary. The day started off pretty normal being a Sunday and being Easter the day Lord rose up. We start off by going to the church to seek his blessings and also end up exchanging pleasantries and greeting people for Easter. At the church Father speaks about a new way of greeting each other by shaking hands.
After getting back home we get ready to plan the day which is to come. As per the plan we decide it is time to go to the mall today and what better choice than my favourite mall. Orion Mall.

Coming back to this mall after 5 months makes it even more a pleasurable experience. The last time I visited this mall was to celebrate my birthday. The journey to the mall is as exiting as one can expect.  Losing the sense of direction was obvious because of certain problems we had with our GPS. Nonetheless we manage to reach the mall as fast as we could, The mall retains its sheen and is thronged by people all over at first it did look empty but as the day pushed on the infux of people was clearly visible. Shopping for stuff at all the top brands became necessary suddenly. My eyes fell on a shirt which I had a liking for and decided to go for it.
It is quite late in the evening when we decide to head back and before heading home we stop by fassos to pick up some food. As the day ends we take back happy memories of the same.

Party Scene Continues

Its Saturday morning and the musical hangover of last night is still fresh in my mind. Its a work day for me even though its the weekend for many. The mundane mad rush to reach work on time comes along. Work continues as usual. Towards the end of the working day we friends get together and carry on the leg pulling sessions on one another with a cup of noodles each and  a packet of biscuits for us. Time flies yet again.

As I get home, Plans are being made to go out to the pub. The handpicked choice is Toit.We start of the journey to reach there but after reaching are disappointed as we are unable to reserve a table for ourselves. I settle on a glass of peach ice tea while others get their own drinks. The music gets onto you and the atmosphere is something which I personally dont enjoy. People swarm around you like crazy. Soon after the last drop we leave for Highnote a rather quieter more peaceful place.  As we get our soups starters and the main course the conversation we re involved in acts like a digestive for the food. The Sea food soup along with the Thai curry, Chicken and the Bacon wrapped prawns create an aura of happiness around. Its a little close to 11 when we call for the bill.

Back home the party spirit has not died down yet. As music and madness engulf the atmosphere we take turns playing DJ with the boom box and belt one hot track after another dancing frollicking and gallivanting into the wee hours of Easter Sunday.
