Happy and Joyous Day overall

The day chalks out as a normal day with the mundane rounds in the morning. The weather outside greets me though. Quite pleasant as it usually is in Bangalore, with the Sun not displaying its full might. The rounds complete and we are off to do our duties. I head to the outside canteen for a cup of coffee which I sometimes like to indulge into even after tea is served to me , with the morning paper. The cup of coffee comes with nupital lessons on how life should be after marriage and how to lead life`s second innings.
After that I go on my regular personal rounds which I love doing which gives me immense happiness and satisfaction. As I greet the patients with a smile on my face the same is reflected back. I am pleased to know that overall it is all a happy day so far. Then came the drama ! Suddenly as I had returned from my local pad after having a sip of water, barely a feet away,  a nurse faints. The crowd is stunned but the medical team is quick to react by bringing a chair for her. She is given water a few minutes later is back to her duties. As she regains herself we jokingly prescribe an IV line with glucose for her and that sends not only us but her into a bout of laughter as well.

The patients are doing well and during the counselling I learn the good news for 2 patients of mine, one of them being my personal favourite. Their voice is restored to them and they are over the moon. They are quick to thank us for which we modestly say it was just our duty.
Another family is making major plans for a triple celebration in their household. Patient getting recovered, his official new year he had missed and the birth of his grandson. They are happy and expecting to be discharged very soon. They go a step forward and invite me for which I oblige as it falls on a Sunday which is manageable. Normalcy returns after these and the day rolls on. Thus looking forward for another exciting day. Till then tudloo.
