It was a cold day on the 10th of November and there were discussions of getting home a pet. Earlier in the year too, there were some, but nothing really materialized. But after a lot of convincing and coaxing of all the family members it was official we were going to get one. I had earlier researched on the best breed to get and had frozen on The Beagle. I was prepared that it is a very tough dog to train but the happiness it gave weighed above everything else. Thus exulted we were on our way to get what I would call is one of the bravest decisions I made. As the car crawled out of the apartment exit, adrenaline was gushing through us. Yes !! we thought. This could be it. The 18km long journey almost took the juice out of our excitement but an hour after we began our drive we were there. As the Sun was about to hide itself under the clouds, We made our way to the breeders pad. Amidst scores of Beagles we decided to pick the most silent of the lot.
We finish our discussion and head towards the car. Its exciting we have our furry little friend with us as we introduce him to his new home. He makes a lot of noise but is happy he found his new home quite welcoming. We record it in our diaries. The 10th of November. A day to remember.
