Metronormal Sunday

Image result for bangalore metro logoWow !! we scream as the auto rolls into the MG road metro station. The over-hyped much awaited Bangalore Metro locally known as Namma Metro is finally here.....We walk into the metro station and are greeted by scores of cops who help us through the journey. The cheerful and affable metro staff at the Mahatma Gandhi Road Station are ever willing to help us and explain the rules of the travel. We check out the picturesque Metro Station and meet tons and tons of people of all sorts. Excited kids screaming. Busy grannies chatting Uncles Aunts Youngsters they were all there having a ball of a time. We move towards the ticket counters and are handed out our ticket cards which are powered with an enormous magnetic forcefield which will enable us to open the gates. Keep these safely we are told by Anusha a metro staffer behind the counter who gave us the tickets. We walk like lords towards the platforms and wait expectantly for the train and we see scores of people lined up we are And we are the among the luckiest ones to get a seat in the overcrowded train coach. As scores of people scurry we manage to get a seat somehow and are on the way to Bypanhalli the last stop of the metro. There is nothing at all to see there. This is just a joyride to check out the metro. As we sit in the train we whistle past Bangalores gardens parks and busy roads. In no time we reach Bypanhalli we wait for the scramble of passengers to subside and then we alight. We spend some time there and after a few minutes we head back to M G Road. We reach MG Road and have some fun, Walking on MG road has never been so crowded ever as it is now thanks to the Metro. We decide to eat something in Mc Donalds and then sip a coffee at CCD discussing about friends and adventures.Slowly the sun sets leaving a golden sky and giving us a gentle reminder that we had homes. After our day of fun we return home and cherish every moment of the day.
