The day was panned out that we will
attend a programme on how to get jobs in Canada at The Leela Palace which supposedly happened to
have hoards of stalls where companies come to talk to aspiring candidates
looking for a job. But it disappoints. When we checked in we saw it was just a
seminar where some guy would speak on visa regulations and nothing which would
actually interest us. Thus we decided to ditch it and enjoy sometime in the
hotel instead.
As we spend some quiet time with each
other we catch up on conversations. Soon enough time flies and we decide to sip
a coffee at the nearby Café Coffee Day. At CCD we take our respective drinks
and sit down . Making a call to a friend who the diary hasnt met in ages made the diary get emotional. It pans out that he has finally bid adieu to HDFC Bank where he worked for as good as 3 long years and it was time to call it a day sometime in January this year. Catching an update on his life and whether wedding bells had rung for him or not even as the diary`s friend looks on grinning. It seems he now works with Standard Chartered Bank a k a SCB and is relieved of the stress he used to cry about earlier to yours truly. Time ran fast and soon we returned home thus the coffee hop was
todays highlight.
